A little help
Use the game’s tutorial and help for its rules. Calendar, Stats, settings, Hints, Undo and Restart are controlled by Lockstep.
Keyboard
Use the arrow keys or WASD to move. Use Tab and Shift+Tab for game controls; Enter or Space activates them. From gameplay, press Escape, then Tab to return to this website’s controls.
Your progress
Progress stays in this browser. It does not sync with the native app, another device, or the calibration beta. Keep browser storage enabled and use the same browser and address.
Advertising
During this limited rollout, optional Monetag banners may appear only on the Lockstep page after you accept advertising in Privacy choices. They do not provide game rewards. Google H5 and AdSense ads remain disabled; ad-dependent refills and Restart report unavailable, and no reward is simulated. You can keep playing with your existing board and credits.
Hidden Ladder
Use the How to play button for the word-ladder rules and open Archive to revisit available puzzles. Practice replay does not replace your original result.
Orbit Lock
Use How to Play for the five-page Field Guide. Space or Enter launches an orb; Escape pauses, resumes or goes back. Tab and Shift+Tab can move between the game and the website. Safari may use Option+Tab according to your keyboard settings.
Your Best score, settings and active run stay in this browser. Choose Continue to resume a saved run. An ordinary Play, Continue or gameplay interaction activates audio; Music and Sound Effects have separate Settings controls.
Rotate to portrait when prompted. If browser bars leave too little room, use the full-height game link when it appears. Use this same browser and address to keep the same save.
